Jennifer (Jenny) Wilkie graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in Peace and Conflict Studies and a concentration on disability studies. While in college, Jenny was a facilitator for the Inclusion Initiative, a student-lead class aimed at simultaneously teaching the history of the Disability Rights Movement with pairing people with disabilities and qualified, trained personal care attendants. Jenny is highly motivated with a passion for working in the disability movement. Jenny has a "silent" disabilities, ADHD and Dyslexia, writing in "mirror writing" for much of her early education. She is a member of the Virginia and California bar associations. Jenny's most recent job was as Development Director for a legal nonprofit with an annual budget of $2 million. Jenny's duties will include fulfilling the corporate responsibilities of secretary and treasurer, devising and implementing a fundraising campaign, designing and implementing a social media campaign, developing and implementing organizational infrastructure, attending appropriate conferences, conventions and networking with the disability community.
